Taught Effective Creative Thinking for problem-solving in STEM school education
An important and exciting milestone for me! A few weeks ago, I wrapped up 216008 - Effective Creative Thinking - a course I have co-developed and co-taught with entrepreneurship and creativity expert Prof. Shlomo Maital in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology in the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
During the course, teams of STEM teachers identified complex problems from their own classrooms and implemented the SNAP Method to generate creative ideas for solving those problems.
Each team produced an entrepreneurial plan for implementing their chosen idea and a poster describing their idea, which they presented to the rest of the faculty. See a poster created by one of those teams, describing a solution to the problem of heterogeneous classroom instruction. You can read the case study here.
